I know that this blue roan gelding is not only a dream horse, as seen in his video we have ridden Sooty extensively through our cows, on trails here on our farm, and in our indoor. there is never too much of a challenge for Sooty… deep sticky mud, steep hills, large groups of cattle, pasture roping, nothing is too much of a challenge. He will hold the rope strong and tight and will not leave you in a sticky situation, that’s for sure! He is a nice fun ride and will go anywhere you point him. Sooty is well broke and will move off your leg pressure, has a nice stop and back and an awesome lope. He easily transitions between walk trot canter and picks up leads both ways. Along with being a ranch horse, we’ve played with him some on the barrels and we believe he can make a solid barrel horse overnight. Sooty is kind and clean in the stall, easy to catch when turned out, stands to be mounted, is not cinchy and does not crib or weave. He is sound and shod all the way around. Stands well for the farrier and vet with no Issues. Sooty truly is your next ranch partner or confident trail mount.

Miel was born and raised on a cattle ranch. he has been used in all aspects of ranch work from roping to sorting to branding cattle. Miel has been pasture roped off of and has worked at a feedyard pulling out sick cows and doctoring sick calves. He has sorted and loaded trucks as well. He has been trail ridden in multiple times, he has saw everything possible on the trails. He will cross creeks, ditches, logs and navigate rough rocky areas. He has a smooth jog and a very nice lope! He reins around good and backs. Miel has had some natural horsemanship training and will follow you around like a puppy, he also rides bridleless. He is easy to clip, bath, tack-up, load, handle and is no problem in the pasture. He has been rode many miles in the mountains and encountered every obstacle possible on the trail. He will go up or down even the steepest slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and over all types of rough terrain while still being sure footed.
